DAISY – Antique French Settee Neo-Classical style with Ottoline Fabric

Meet Daisy and upgrade your home with this unique Canapé for two. This beautiful French antique little sofa in neo-classical style was crafted from beech wood and is completely restored and newly upholstered in a vibrant multicoloured stripe pattern. Daisy features fine decorative woodwork, and reeded details and acanthus leaves on the armrests, legs and backrest. The white distressed original paint of the frame adds a classic touch, while the 42-inch backrest height and 20-inch seat depth provide both comfort and style. Ideal for any room, this original settee is perfect for either small spaces or simply adds fun for example to a hallway or kitchen. Care instructions advise avoiding harsh chemicals to preserve the quality of the fabricant painted wood. This Belle Epoque settee is originally from France upholstered in this fun stripe it will make a unique addition to your home. 

Daisy comes fresh out of our workshop; the frame was tested and is sound and sturdy. The webbing was renewed, and this piece is newly upholstered and covered in a 100% linen striped fabric by Ottoline. Is shows double piping around the edges. Please note we rather like this now distressed paint showing off the beautiful wood carving on the backrest (a carved bow) and the acanthus on the arms and reeded details on the legs, we think it adds a lot of character, so we decided to keep the original paint, which is slightly worn and an under colour slightly comes through, please refer to pictures.
